Minutes of Commission meeting held on April 6, 2010.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Marcia Beal, Patricia Caron, Nathan Gumlaw. Absent: James Wettlaufer.
Chairperson called the meeting to order. The minutes of the March 23, 2010 meeting were read and accepted and will be distributed.
7:15 p.m. Roy and Arthur Curtis of 33 Craig Rd., Map R-22-B-05 spoke to us regarding the repair of their rip-rap lakeside wall. Their existing wall is eroding and they would like to add more stones. Following discussion, all were in favor of the project. Mary vandenBerg signed Procedure Sheet #2010-AA.
7:30 p.m. The Public Hearing of a Request for Determination for Dennis and Deborah Bernashe for their septic system repair at 1 Island Rd., Map 10R-A-14 was held. No abutters came. Alan E. Weiss of Cold Spring Environmental Consultants, Inc. reviewed the plans. Mary vandenBerg made a motion for a Negative Determination - project will not require a Notice of Intent. All were in favor of the project and closing the hearing. Members signed the Determination of Applicability.
8:00 p.m. The Public Hearing of a Request for Determination for HAP, Inc. for their project of a Preliminary Site Plan/Holland Senior Housing at 40 Brimfield Rd., Map 13, and Parcel 17 was held. No abutters came. Present were Rudy Perkins, Project Manager and Staff Attorney, HAP, Inc. and Charles Dauchy a Wetlands Consultant. Plans were reviewed and having no wetland issues. Mary vandenBerg made a motion for a Negative Determination - project will not require a Notice of Intent. All were in favor of the project and closing the hearing. Members signed the Determination of Applicability.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
